A SOC 2 Type 2 Certification guarantees a third-party auditor has verified that Pioneer-360 follows best security practices in not only infrastructure but processes as well. This company-wide achievement is huge for our MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) status, adding to our robust security and compliance guarantees.
What is SOC2?
SOC stands for System and Organization Controls and is a standard of the AICPA that is widely considered the touchstone for trust in the cloud and Security as a Service industries. This rigorous process was created by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants to improve reporting for service organizations and ensure the security, confidentiality, and privacy of their customer’s data. A third-party auditor is then required to audit our Pioneer-360 to ensure that we meet best security practices in everything they do.
SOC audits encompass every aspect of business – technical, personnel, and everything in between. A positive report is difficult to achieve, as this audit covers a continuous period of time, but it ensures that our clients can expect high standards across Pioneer-360’s data security and privacy practices, as well as our quality control and reporting. This certification proves that Pioneer-360 holds itself to the same standards that many of our financial/manufacturing clients are forced to uphold.
